DEITIES

The series Deities marks a turning point in the artist’s practice, consolidating a pictorial language based on the layering of monochrome glazes that expand the surface of the canvas into an experience of depth, vibration, and suspended time.

Each work is structured through a rigorous chromatic system in which colour does not illustrate the mythological figure, but instead embodies its symbolic and energetic qualities.

Painting becomes a silent and atmospheric space, where colour operates as a structure of thought and a form of presence.

Each deity is translated into an autonomous chromatic identity, establishing a system of correspondences between myth and perception:

Venus appears as a luminous orange associated with fertility, beauty, and sensuality.
Vesta as an intense red evoking the home, fire, and protection.
Ceres as an aqueous green linked to growth and vital cycles.
Athena as a deep blue symbolising wisdom and clarity.
Persephone as a liminal violet, between darkness and regeneration.
Diana as an organic red related to instinct and the hunt.
Selene as a silvery materiality evoking nocturnal light.
Helios as a solar gold, concentrated in energy and power.
Eos as an iridescent white with pink nuances, embodying dawn.

As a whole, Deities articulates a visual system in which colour acquires a symbolic and perceptual dimension.
